Watercolor Turtles

Keeping in beat with turtle week, today we painted wooden turtles with our watercolor paints and made them into magnets.

After they dried we added beads and eyes and while they came out cute, I think they looked better with just the paints... sometimes adding too much takes away from it all. Regardless, the kids had lots of fun...

We will be thinking of our friend Kyla today into tomorrow as she got sick during our circle time while we were crawling on the floor pretending to be turtles ;).... her wooden turtle will be waiting for her when she comes back.
