Last week we made recycled nature containers with the children and went on a nature walk outside to see what we could find.
They just LOVED wearing their special container around their neck and hunting for treasures. 
We have SO many tomatoes we don't know what to do! Each day we go to our garden and find more. We've had them for snack, for lunch, in salads, on sandwiches - I think we will make salsa or tomato sauce if they keep coming. We also had two zucchinis and some green beans. Our pumpkins and eggplant hasn't come out yet - we were hoping to have pumpkins for Halloween - not sure it will happen. The cucumbers are starting to get bigger and some of the other peppers and things are slow moving. Next year we will have to start them from seeds indoors to get a head-start.

a great post Eileen! Especially like the mystical playspace....kids are really drawn to places that border on spiritual, don't they!
