I always worry that Dee will one day look back and feel like I didn't take any photos of her older years. I TRY to get her in photos but she avoids the camera like the
plague when I pull it out. I mean she will physically run out of the room or cover her head so I can't get her! So, whenever I can, I bring my camera along to get a few shots when she's 'not looking' :)

Dee has had an amazing year again in field hockey. She's is such a strong player and I'm so proud of her determination!

These girls play in the most extreme weather - the other evening it was FREEZING and pouring rain and they played all the way through to the end.

Tonight we have another home game - Play for the Cure - to help raise awareness and money for breast cancer. I baked a bunch of pink cupcakes to sell and I'll be sure to sneak my camera in for a few photos to share :)

I played field hockey in ninth grade for a short time. I have never been very athletic and really admire people who are. I remember always being picked last at recess for dodge ball and other sports. This was actually fine with me because I hated it! :)

But for Dee it seems to come more naturally. She wasn't even sure she wanted to play field hockey - I'm so glad she gave it a try. Its a good team of girls and they really work well together.
